Australia's Next Top Model - Cycle 5

Australia Next Top Model is getting better each cycle. Girls in this cycle 5 are adequately good as one another and it makes the competition so fierce and make me so hot whenever i'm watching it. Replacing Johdi Meares is supermodel Sarah Murdoch while Charlette Dawson & Alex Perry as judges.

Tahnee Atkinson

Being young and curvy, Tahnee's dream is to become a Victoria Secret Runwau model, not sure whether she suceeded or not, but she definitely has what it takes to become Australia Next Top Model. Together with Clare & Cassi, 3 of them are my favorite since the beginning of the show and yay~ they did make it to the top 3 and i believe she will be a swim wear model in future~

Cassi Van Den Dungen

She's the most rude girl in this cycle, being as crazy and as loud as she can, she definitely make this cycle a "must watch" everytime she appeared. Even though she was hated by all the girls in the cycle and everyone wish she can be send home, Cassi surprise the judges every week with her absolutely gorgeous photo... Seriously, she is so good that I almost forgive her bad behavior on it. Well, she's still young, what can we expect from her by this age right? Just hope that she can be a successful model in future... 

2nd Runner Up

Clare Venema

This blond smooth icy Clare is so chic and high fashion, i just love her so much~ She is well known of the fashion industry and we can see that she's hunger of the prize. Each week she deliver great picture that keep her safe until the top 3, but on her top 3 picture, her vulnerability look makes her lose her chances of becoming Australia Next Top Model.

4th Place

Adele Thiel

The dark horse of this competition, Adele has shown the judges that she is not the "one-look" girl but she can be as good as the other girls. Starting the competition not that strong and being stiff is a strong strategy; luckily her fair skin match her red hair makes her stand out and definitely she is those "Chanel" girl look~

5th Place

Francesca "Franky" Okpara 

I love her look, even way before the make over. But after make over, her look definitely pop out and so striking~ During the make over time, she cried and being a drama queen, insisting she rather to be send home then chopped off her hair~ lol~ if she was send home by that time, definitely there's a waste and the show will not become so drama either :p

7th Place

Laura Mitchell  

The first Asian girl in Australia Next Top Model, definitely she wins my support. She's not those typical beauty, but she portraits healthy and tough looking to me. I don't really agree on her make over because it makes her look not so good before her make over. I rather they keep her long hair, with big wavy perm instead which will makes her look better~

 

Getaway ~ Koh Lipe

After my Surabaya Trip in mid of last year, I have been working very hard at the office everyday. Finally I managed to get away for vacation to the beautiful Asia-Mauritius, Koh Lipe.

Me and my friends got ourselves the cheap Air Asia ticket to Langkawi, then we take the boat to Koh Lipe. This is the cheaper way compare to if you travel to Bangkok and take internal flight to Koh Lipe. The whole vacation is so relaxing, most of the time we just enjoy ourselves at the sea, sunbathing, snorkeling and island hoping. Though the place is small but the expenses is not that cheap, most probably it has gone expensive, thanks to those caucasian~ And the white girls love sunbathing topless there :D

Nothing much to talk about this trip, but its just for myself to relax and charge back my energy for 2015~

Kekkaishi 結界師 けっかいし

According to the legend, five hundred years ago, there was an insignificant lord who possessed a mysterious power that drew ayakashi (supernatural creatures) to him. A demon exterminator, Tokimori Hazama, was called upon to protect the lord and his castle. The lord's power stayed on the land even when he had died. Thus, Tokimori founded the Hazama clan, who inherited his techniques, to protect the land for centuries to come. This land is Karasumori.

In the present day, Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura, heirs of the Hazama clan, are the kekkaishi that protect Karasumori. They are ability users (people who can use supernatural powers) who use a technique called Kekkai. Kekkai is a form of magical energy barrier which is primarily used to capture and destroy ayakashi that are drawn to this shin'yūchi. Any ayakashi that stay on the land become stronger. Yoshimori and Tokine are to guard the land from the intrusion of ayakashi who try to "power-up" there.

Yoshimori and Tokine suffered a lot of hardships in their responsibilities to protect Karasumori. The ayakashi they must fight are becoming more and more powerful, but they managed to protect the land with the help from Yoshimori's older brother, Masamori Sumimura, and the Urakai ("Shadow Organization"). The Shadow Organization itself is an organization of ability users that is governed by a council of twelve, consisting of high level ability users.

Over the course of the story it is revealed little by little that the legend is full of lies. The real source of Karasumori's power is Chūshinmaru, an illegitimate son of the Hazama clan's founder, Tokimori Hazama, and the Karasumori clan's heiress. Tokimori used forbidden arts to try to give his son unearthly power, but the plan backfired, and instead gave Chūshinmaru the power to draw people's life force, killing everybody around him. Tokimori was forced to seal his own son beneath Karasumori. However, being alone with no aid Tokimori was unable to completely seal off the Shinkai he created. Which allowed Chūshinmaru's power to leak out, and it is this that draws ayakashi to the land.

In the end, with the help of Yoshimori's mother and Tokimori, Yoshimori and Tokine find a new site for Chūshinmaru by displacing the founder of the Urakai from the domain of a land-god that the founder had taken over. To seal Chūshinmaru, Yoshimori's mother sacrifices herself by sealing the domain with herself inside.

The Law of Ueki 植木的法則

The story starts out with the Battle of the Supernatural Powers, a tournament to decide who will be the next god of The Celestial World (rendered as God Candidates in the Animax version and Kami (天界人) in the Japanese version).

Each candidate (100 in total) is required to choose a junior high school student to act as their fighter. The student is given a unique power and told to eliminate as many enemies as possible. The winning God Candidate will become The New God of Heaven and the winning student will receive the Blank Zai (or talent), a talent that can be anything they choose.

While this leads many students to thoughts of greed and selfishness, Kosuke Ueki decides to take it upon himself to win this tournament to keep that power away from those that would abuse such a gift.

火野國中1C的植木耕助，在小學6年級的冬天，從現時是他班主任的小林老師那裏，得到一種不可思議的能力，他可以把他自覺是垃圾的東西變成樹木，限定條件是只限手掌能覆蓋的垃圾。

植木的同班同學森愛，因留意到植木的超能力而跟踪植木，豈料途中被一群不良少年騷擾，幸得植木出手替她解圍。然而此時，小林老師竟然出現，指植木會遭受“用能力傷人的懲罸”。翌日，植木受女生歡迎的“才”（才能）消失了。（由于小林也有出手，所以这惩罚產生某種程度的偏差，所以植木仍能和鈴子及瑪莉琳等人結為朋友。）

植木被卷入的那場戰争，其實是一場由100名候選神為争奪神寶座而進行的戰鬥，這百名候選神各自挑選一名中學生，并賦予其一種能力應戰，最後勝出者所代表的候選神，即會成為下任的神。至于勝出的中學生則能够將“空白之才”（擁有者能擁有任何一種想要的才能）據為己有。

除了植木的“將垃圾變成樹”的能力之外，還有許多擁有能力的敵人及對手出現，植木為了不讓“空白之才”落入邪惡之人的手中，决定貫徹自己的正義，守護“空白之才”。

Initially, fights in the tournament consist of a battle between two power users - one wins by knocking the other opponent out.

When a knock-out is obtained, the loser will lose their power and the winner will gain a talent Zai (才), which is a talent of some sort (e.g. "talent of running," "talent of studying," and so on). A power user who has lost a fight is disqualified and their power is labeled "retired."

The rules for the combatants of the tournament revolve around the talents:

Power users are not allowed to use their powers against non-power users, or they lose one talent for each hit.

If the power user loses all of his/her talents, then he/she will disappear.

Every time a power user knocks out another power user, he/she will gain another talent, senseless or not.

If, for any reason, both contestants become unconscious at the same time, the round is a draw: no talents will be gained, and no powers are lost. The contestants must be knocked out within 5 seconds of each other, or the last contestant wins.

There are also rules which apply to the Celestial World Candidates, also known as God Candidates. The punishment for breaking them is that the candidate is sent to Hell.

Candidates are not allowed to interfere with their power user's fight. This means that they are not allowed to provide their power users with more supplies to use their power (this may only apply to during a fight), or even save them from dying.

Candidates are only allowed to grant a power to one individual. However, it is possible for two candidates to give a power each to one person; if found out, though, it will lead to a disqualification of both candidates.

Candidates cannot harm any non-power users, the same rule apply on power users.

Near the end of the tournament, power users are allowed to form groups of five for "battle royale"-style fighting. Knock-outs during this stage do not result in losing powers. Each team is given a penalty if it loses, such as having all of the members die or losing their hair in addition to losing their powers.

To decide who receives the Blank Talent among the winning team, a device is used to measure the growth in power that each participant has shown from the beginning to the end of the tournament. To decide who is to become King of the Celestial World, the winning team votes which of the candidates should be given that honor.
