L² Evolution: Asia NTM

Once again, Asia's Next Top Model is back at Singapore on the 4th cycle. Cindy Bishop replace Georgina Wilson as the main host while Kelly Tandiono took over Joey Mead-King as the models' mentor in this cycle. Nevertheless, Yu Tsai also joined force as the creating director as well~

This time, the competitor is stronger than ever and more drama & fights among the bitches as well. Also not to forget a lot of new "1st time" history make in this cycle, eg: 1st Mongolian participant; 1st Myanmar participant; 1st Malaysian Muslim participant...

CYCLE 4 WINNER

JIRATCHAYA "TAWAN" KEDKONG (THAILAND)

Second Thai-Ger has won the title of Asia's Next Top Model within 4 cycles. First is Jessica from cycle 1 & Tawan is the second Thai-Girl who has make Thailand proud. I love Tawan before her make-over, she looks sophisticated & more mature compare to her look after the drastic hair-cut. Suddenly she became alive, young & bubbly. She's not my favorite girl though but i'm ok with her being the top 3, just not the winner though...

SANG IN KIM (KOREA)

Sang In is definitely my favorite in this cycle, I was so happy when she managed to make it to the top 3 & I thought she'll be the first Korean girl to win Asia's Next Top Model. I love her cheek bone & was impressed on how good her English is compare to other Korean. Not only she can shot good photograph, her ability of absorbing new skill is fast. But only that Fucking Rude Glenn Tan (shame of Malaysian) try to destroy Sang In, but luckily she's strong enough to overcome it.

PATRICIA GUNAWAN (INDONESIA)

Patricia almost make a history in this cycle if she won the title & make Indonesia the first country to have the back-to-back winner ever. However, for me Patricia is good in her runway no doubt, but she's not totally good in her photo shoot though. Being the shortest girl, she never gave up like Ayu Ghani in the previous cycle, but too bad the title did not belongs to her...

JULIAN FLORES (PHILIPPINES)

3 Pinoy participates in this cycle, one being too beauty queen & another one gave up and apparently the pressure falls on Julian. For me, I never thought she looks pretty until the Neutrogena & Harper's Bazaar shots. She looks better without the fringe seriously, more prettier and can show off her features better. But being too quiet in this competition make the judges worry and suspect her will to stay in this competition...

ANGELA "ANGIE" WATKINS (SINGAPORE)

Ms Singapore as usual is very kiasu in all the cycle, so as Angie in cycle 4. Not only she cannot accept the fact that she is not too outstanding compare to other competitors, she is a lil bit fake for me as well. Luckily her pretty face & big boobs do win her a lot of points for her to stay in this competition. But too bad this is not "Asia's Next Top Porn Star", or else she would have win it...

NURAINI "TUTI" NOOR (MALAYSIA)

One of my favorite girl in this cycle beside Sang In, Aldilla & Tugs. Being the first Muslim girl to participate in this competition, I'm kinda worry about her when she back to Malaysia. Of course beside wearing a bit too expose in the show, letting some stranger "guy" to massage her leg is a big NO NO for muslim girl. But I like her so much & wish that she can strike a good future in the modeling industry soon :)

Asia Next Top Model Cycle 3 is back in Singapore and with new lead judge Georgina Wilson together with Alex Perry, while Joey Mead King is still in the panel of judges. The quality of the contestants this cycle vary, some are extremely poor while some are good. You can define from the first 2 episodes that who will become the top 5 and most of my guesses are correct :)

Cycle 3 Winner

AYU GANI (INDONESIA)

One of the strong competitor in this cycle, she is the one with the most unique and asian face that I have high hope for. Her personality might be a bit shy, but she was not afraid to pose and perform well in this competition. Seriously, during the final 3, I was holding my breath and super super hope that she will win the title. And when Georgina announce Gani as the winner, I was so happy that I shout out Hooray~ So so so happy she won and she is the first Indonesian to won Asia Next Top Model, proud of her !!!

MONIKA STA. MARIA (PHILIPPINES)

This may be the 3rd cycle that a Philippino came so close to the top but did not win the title for the Next Top Model. Monika is one of the strong competitor against Gani. Shooting multiples great photo and very consistence in her performance, she struggle a bit during her final photo shooting and i think this might be the reason which cause her to loss in the end. Both Georgina & Joey are from Philippines but no bias was taken to side Monika when coming to decide who is the winner~

AIMEE CHENG BRADSHAW (SINGAPORE)

First time ever, a Singaporean contestant climb to such a high spot in Asia Next Top Model. Aimee has a very very beautiful and elegant look which i love so much. But her plump figure didn't help her a lot in this competition, she's not plus size yet she is not fit enough for most of the designer clothes. This is risking her position in the competition especially when the judges consider that it might come to a problem when sending her out to the Europe market if she win...

BARBARA AKEMI KATSUKI (JAPAN)

Not sure whether this is fate or what, this is the 3rd time a Japanese contestant become the 4th place in the competition. Barbara is full of experience and one of the oldest competitor together with Melissa, 27 years old. She is very pretty to look at but was frame with her old experience and did not give surprise to the judges at all. Some of the time she was even too expectable, even I will know what kind of pose she will be posing...

TAHLIA RAJI (INDONESIA)

Tahlia, a very sexy Indonesian contestant who discover her breast lump during the competition. She was worried and due to her health condition, it distract her and she perform badly and got herself eliminated. Tahlia performance fluctuated a lot in this competition, she did get best picture in one of the week, but the next week she was out of the competition~

MELISSA TAN (MALAYSIA)

She was very strong and pose fiercely in the competition. But stupid Subaru Glenn Tan insulted her badly and calling her a zebra while critics her not suitable to become the spokesperson for Subaru. Even though we can see all of the judges feel pity for Melissa to leave the competition, but stupid Subaru is the biggest client, and the judges force to let go of this potential competitor in this cycle~
