梅兰芳 - 黎明

Watch this 梅兰芳, Forever Enthralled by Leon Lai & ZiYi Zhang... I love they use "Enthralled" in the title of this film, coz really suits 梅兰芳's fame~ i give a 3 out of 5 stars for this film...
Somehow i wish Leon Lai is not the lead actor, coz he spoiled the film due to his poor acting. I mean, he doesn't act well at all... bit of lacking in his expression and body language in this film... He does can act, but definitely not in this film...
As for Zhang ZiYi, she doesn't present much in this film, jst a few shots here and there with Leon. But she portraits well in the character... The movie talks about the whole life of 梅兰芳... not really whole life la~ until the end of world war II lo~

It states how 梅兰芳 getting a fame in his own carrier thru beating down his sifu by trying new stuff in the chinese opera. And he started to get famous and get married with Chen Hong. He also met a guy who brings his carrier to the next level... When Japanese Army came into China, they love 梅兰芳 too~ and japanese also found out China citizen view 梅兰芳 as their idol, so they wanna use 梅兰芳 as a media for the chinese to accept japanese... But 梅兰芳 rejected and fight against them~

Overall the story is nice, and Leon Lai looks quite pretty when he's in the opera make-up~ :) Enjoy~
