You better believe in Feng Shui for your pet's house too if you want him long life. I have seen people who kept fish aquariums at wrong corners & the fishes die every week. After shifting to auspicious corners, they lived for many years. I know I may sound silly but I am not. Have you seen a dog's kennel with its own "Ba Gua" hanging at the roof? LOL
is dat a golden hamster or pearl hamster? either way, they'll turn white when adult. is it male or female? its less than a mth old or so. bcareful when u hold it high above ground. it can die if it drops. hold it near to ground. clean the cage n beddings every week n give it a running wheel. ample food n water. keep away from direct sunlight. how big is ur cage? if big, u can add in a house n a sand bathing. ur pet will live long. i had 3 now from 40 plus. :)
for a happier hamster, give things it can chew n hide. it luvs sunflower seed. empty toilet rolls. shredded tissues. tissue box.
play with it often. if not it nibbles u. do not bath it with water.
